Subjects are lectured in Catalan language. However, the International Commission Mobility would be able to determine if they will be lectured in the Spanish language during the time that the host student stays in here. Our official course catalogue can be consulted on the official website of the Catalan Education Ministry and our institutional website.

The approval and monitoring of inter-institutional agreements, both for study mobility and traineeship mobility, follows a standardize procedure set up by the Catalan Education Ministry. For study mobility, the procedure is based on the ECVET credit system. The specific implementation carried out by the Catalan Education Ministry can be consulted in the following link:
http://portaldogc.gencat.cat/utilsEADOP/PDF/6631/1356726.pdf
The recognition of training mobility will follow the same standardize procedure carried out for domestic internships (known as FCT, workplace education), so that its recognition will be based on the same criteria on company approval, length or monitoring, among other aspects. Specific regulation can be found in the following link:
http://www.iesmartilhuma.org/IES/Ordre-ensen-193-2002_regula_formacio_practica_centres_treball.pdf
The actions taken until now are:
A) Implementation of a technical English subject in each vocational training course offered.
B) In the Administration & Finance department we have included one subject more of the curricula in English (Communication and Customer Service).
Furthermore, grading organization of the Technical English subject that is being taught in the first year (4 weekly hours) with the goal that our students could obtain an official diploma according to their level. The school participation in Erasmus+ program will presume to add specific actions, such as offering intensive courses to those Erasmus applicants. The applicants must show a B2 (or similar) level in order to obtain an Erasmus grant.
Tutorial functions related to the welcoming of the students are the following: -Facilitating information related to the necessary previous steps before the mobility. -Supporting foreign students with any necessary compulsory arrangement for their stay into any organization and institution where it should be carried out. -Make available all the necessary means in order to make those arrangements. -Carrying out some periodical meetings with the student (once every two weeks). -Meeting up periodically with the teachers that lecture host student or those that supervise internships (practical supervisors). -Ensuring that our students carrying out the mobility programme get all the information on behalf of the hosting school.
It will be possible To attend Spanish or Catalan classes (depending on the student interests) in the first and second year of the Spanish Bachelor courses plus with the CAS course (Advance Vocational Training Access Course). The International Commission Mobility would be able to determine if the subjects lectured in the Catalan language in which he/she has been enrolled, will be lectured in the Spanish language during the time that the host student stays in here.
During the stay, the tutor will hold regular meetings with the responsible of the company or the involved teachers to get the necessary information to inform to the student and the home university. This information will be discussed in the International Mobility Commission in order to amend possible mistakes. At the end of the stay, the student will receive a report about the accomplishment of their goals and required contents previously established. Our administrative staff along with the host student tutor will write the mentioned report.
Staff mobility is not considered for the short run, however, we would include this kind of mobility in case the program was successful.
Finally, all students who had participated in activities of international mobility will be invited to participate in an act of disclosure of Erasmus experiences. This event will be held the first week of next year and will consist of a photographic exhibition that will be installed in one of the classrooms at the school and of a panel discussion in which students who have taken international mobility in the past year and a moderator will take part in. In the panel discussion, the students will share their experiences, their motivation to be part of the mobility program, the complications that have faced and the learning that mobility has provided them in both academic and professional areas, as well as, especially on their personal sphere.
